Shabby Chic Turquoise Dresser Transformation

Turquoise Shabby Chic Dresser Transformation countrybestblog.com

I did this shabby chic turquoise dresser up over a year ago… I think. Honestly, I can’t remember events between 1 year and 3 years ago in their actual happenings. Can you tell I’ve had my babies close together?!

It should probably go without saying, but this dresser was a cheap garage sale find I snagged. It was so fun to transform it! Mostly because using chalk paint was easy peasy awesome. No sanding was needed prior and it only took one coat! The colour is acutally a lot darker in person. I love having it as our TV stand. I also love randomly scuffing it up with sand paper here and there once it was all dried. I take great satisfaction in roughing things up shabby chic style. The wood/brass looking hardwear was spray painted black and put back on.

It’s one of my favorite pieces of furniture. Now to just convince The Cowboy that we should have even MORE turquoise in our house…
